GLENDA'S TREASURES

This collection of buttons, earrings, necklaces, pins, charms, a watch, and various religious items that I’ve thoughtfully assembled together on canvas came from my dad’s mom, my grandma.
I feel very lucky to have this collection from her jewelry box, given to me as her only granddaughter. She has dementia and doesn’t live on her own or remember who I am anymore. I am grateful to have these reminders of her personality and honor her treasures in this special way.

The living room of the lake house in North Georgia my family would visit in the summer as I was growing up. Our family friends who owned this house have now sold it, but I will always hang onto the memories made here with my family and our dogs, going on hikes, fishing from the dock, going for boat rides, etc.
